The tree has fallen in California 

A recent storm has toppled the Pioneer Cabin Tree here in California. They say this tree may have stood for over 1000 years and was first tunneled to attract tourists to our Redwood forests.

Here my grandfather Charles Gillard, great grandparents and great Aunts rest for a picture. They went on to visit the hot springs and other outdoor jewels of California.
