Nowadays, Kristin is doing many things well… but then she always did!
Happy Birthday , Kristin. This is your day.

My youngest daughter drew these two pictures of her sisters ‘personas’. The next picture I don’t quite understand… but then as the only male, this is very normal. ( Karla has since informed me that when Karen was born we told Kristin that we were giving her a ‘gift’ of a sister… always a mixed reaction for the oldest child!)
Happy Birthday Ladies!
love,
Dad
Karla was very interested in Halo Reach and so am I. The universe continues to do its thing thaks to the fact that I was able to obtain a copy. Karla loves games of all sorts and I remember the two of us standing for hours outside a Best Buy so she could get her first X-box.
Besides being a lot of fun to play with family and friends, video games are good for your brain! Now, go out and conquer the universe!
What do you give your spouce for her 38th wedding anniversary? Well if you look on line for suggestions, they are all boring! I guess they thnk if you have been married that long , you shouldn’t need any hints! To a degree, I do believe this to be true.
Laura and I have a fondness for books and what better gift that to find a first edition of a familiar author Alexander Dumas ( Three musketeers, Count of Monte Cristo and Man in the Iron Mask among many others), but not one of his familiar books. The book “the Conscript: a Tale of War” was not one you often see listed with his other works, but the plot may see very familiar to you.
Not every old book is expensive; in fact, many old books are amazingly affordable. It is picking the right book for the right person that is the key… and this one was a hit.
One of my relatives thought that I was going to be fairly smug about being married a while. And although there might be a little truth in it, I am remined that it ‘takes 2’ to make a marriage and help it prosper. No matter how committed one person might be, without the support of the other, it will never survive.
So, please excuse me if I am a little smug … it’s all about marrying the right person. Thank you, Laura for always being there when I needed you! <3
