My daughter Karen produced this short 3minute video on my wonderful hunting and dining experience with Lukhulu Safaris in the Free State of South Africa!
We dined on what we hunted… what could be better than that?
South Africa is definitely on every American hunter’s “bucket list” that I know… and honestly, I want to go back!
I love to hunt and at the end of the day… Enjoy a great meal made from whatever we found. Some animals were fixed in an old South African Braii… Others like my Red Hartebeest became Hartebeest Schnitzel ( chicken fried steak ).
I would like to thank Likhulu Safaris Matt, Jacklyn, Chris and “J” for making my Free State experience truly memorable !

Oh, about a year ago, I planned a little hunting Safari and set a date, bought plane tickets and arranged for everything I needed for the trip…. only one glitch… My wife mistook the date I was returning for the date I was leaving and made a few commitments for us during the time I will be gone. Oh well!
Although we’ve been married 40 years this year, I am amused at how much we know about each other… yet, sometimes on rare occasions… we miss and this always surprises us both!
