going on a safari
Excuse the realistic picture my daughter drew above, but she did capture the essence of a hunt.
Oh, about a year ago, I planned a little hunting Safari and set a date, bought plane tickets and arranged for everything I needed for the trip…. only one glitch… My wife mistook the date I was returning for the date I was leaving and made a few commitments for us during the time I will be gone. Oh well!
Although we’ve been married 40 years this year, I am amused at how much we know about each other… yet, sometimes on rare occasions… we miss and this always surprises us both!
